Luigi and Fausta chose to leave city life and live in the countryside; the wild animals populating the century-old park in which the B&B Le Macine relais is set, are daily companions; a peaceful, silent place but very close to the mediaeval village of which it is part.
Fausta expresses her professional life in a vast network of company relations; Luigi is a doctor.
Together, they have invested passion, enthusiasm and design in the preparation of a ‘soul place’ where guests can forget their worries, refocus and find the force and sweetness of their life.
The late 19th century furniture and silks in the rooms, original to the neighbouring manor house, help to recover the rhythms and smells of olden times in the simple naturalness of the day.
